Volleyball Set to Host Regionals on Saturday

The Lady Broncho Volleyball team returns to action tomorrow as they host one of eight OSSAA 4A Regional Volleyball Tournaments around the state. The Bronchos (4A-#7) are the top seed in the region and come in with a record of 14-8. The #2 seed is Weatherford (4A-#10) who come in with a record of 18-8, whereas the #3 seed is Blanchard (4A-UR), who comes in with a record of 7-18. The 4th seed would have been Harding Fine Arts Academy, but they are not participating in athletics currently due to COVID-19 precautions.

In the first game, #2 Weatherford will take on #3 Blanchard at 10:00 AM, then the winner will take on Bethany in the championship game at 12:00 PM. The Lady Bronchos have defeated both Weatherford and Blanchard this season. Weatherford was the first game of the year for Bethany and they won the match 3-0 (25-20, 25-16, and 25-15). The winner of the regional tournament advances to the 4A State Tournament, to be played Friday & Saturday, October 9 & 10 at Westmoore High School.
