Volleyball State Tournament Brackets Released, Lady Bronchos Get the #4 Seed

The Bethany Lady Bronchos Volleyball team is headed back to the Class 4A State Tournament for the fourth time in the past seven seasons. Bethany heads into the tournament as the #4 seed overall in the eight team field and will match up with the #5 overall seed, Regent Prep Academy from Tulsa. Bethany comes in with a record of 25-7 on the year, while Regent Prep enters with a mark of 27-9. Regent Prep has some key victories this year over teams such as Lincoln Christian (3A-#1), Newcastle (4A-#12), Crossings Christian (4A-#6) and  Holland Hall (3A-#3). Bethany also has some significant wins on the year after their regional championship win over Newcastle (4A-#12) including Mount St. Mary (5A-#3), Heritage Hall (3A-#6), Southwest Covenant (4A-#8), and Crossings Christian (4A-#6).

Bethany and Regent Prep Academy will play at 11:45 AM on Friday, October 5 at Moore High School. The winner will play in the State Semi-Finals on Saturday, October 6 at 9:00 AM against the winner of Christian Heritage (4A-#1) and Southwest Covenant (4A-#8).
