Amy Harrell is entering her seventh year as the Head Cheerleading Coach for the Bronchos. During her time she has taken the Bronchos cheerleading program from a club sport to one that completes in both Competitive Cheer and Gameday Cheer with the OSSAA. Coach Harrell let the Cheer Team to a Class 4A Gameday Cheer State Championship in 2019.

Away from coaching, Mrs. Harrell loves spending time with her family, which consists of her husband Chris and children Hannah, Payton, and Woods. She enjoys traveling, leading worship at her church, and attending events at both Bethany and OU.

When asked about her coaching philosophy, Coach Harrell said, "I believe a good coach sees each of their team members through eyes of love and grace. My goal is for my actions to be consistent with my beliefs in how I teach and love each member of my squad. The goal is just as much about personal growth as it is about increasing skill. Our team only succeeds when we are working together, building each other up, and taking the focus off of ourselves." Coach Harrell also said that one of her high school coaches, Rocky George, had a big impact on her. "Mr. George inspired me as my basketball coach as well as my favorite math teacher. He was consistently patient, kind, and encouraging. He spent every lunch hour, everyday, assisting his students and helping us to become better. He exceeded the expectations of a coach and teacher and earned an enormous amount of respect from me and so many others."
