Broncho Cheer Qualifies for State Championships
Chickasha, OK - This past Saturday at the Class 4A Regional Championships Bethany’s cheer team battled there way through the competition to guarantee a spot at OSSAA State Finals this coming weekend. This will be the first state finals appearance for a Bethany Cheer team since 2003. Our 14 member cheer team is one of the smallest in the 4A Division but that didn’t hold them back as they finished in 3rd place in the regional, upsetting defending state champion Tuttle, who finished in 4th place. The Bronchos also defeated Kingfisher, Community Christian, Plainview, and Christian Heritage. Crossing Christian was the regional champion, while Weatherford was the runner up.
Bethany will take to the mat at 2:40 PM this Saturday, September 28th at the Mabee Center in Tulsa as they compete for a state title.
