Girls Soccer Notches First Win by Beating Chickasha 5-2

Bethany, OK - The Bethany Lady Bronchos Soccer Team has a brutal first five games of the season against some of the best teams in the state and after two close losses they were able to get into the win column last night with a 5-2 win over Chickasha (4A). The Lady Bronchos played fantastic on offense and Coach Ryan Brock said, "We entered the game with an offensive mindset to generate shots on goal. The most impressive performance was the five goals were by five different players." Bri Cotter, Teeka Smith, Faith Ross, Roz Ratai, and Kendrie Escoe all got in on the scoring action in the game.

Bethany (4A) possessed the ball much of the game and dominated in the number of shots on goal. They will look to build on that momentum this week as they now have two other opponents that are highly ranked in their respective classes and constant state championship contenders. The Lady Bronchos travel to Clinton (4A) on Thursday and Santa Fe South (5A) on Friday to round out this difficult early season schedule.
