Alan Cook is entering his first season as the Head Softball Coach at Bethany High School after spending last season as the Head Softball Coach at Deer Creek High School. Cook, who has been coaching since 2002 led Deer Creek to the Class 5A State Semi-Finals in the fall of 2016 and a record of 28-10.

Prior to becoming the Head Coach at Deer Creek, Cook was an Assistant Softball and Baseball Coach at Yukon High School from 2002 to 2016. In those seasons he helped lead Yukon to the State Semi-Finals two different times in baseball and one time in softball, along with numerous other State Tournament appearances.

To go along with coaching baseball and softball, Coach Cook also coached football, basketball, and golf at various times while at Yukon High School. 

In addition to working as the Head Softball Coach for the Bronchos, Cook also serves as an Assistant Baseball Coach and is the Sophomore English Teacher at Bethany High School.

Away from teaching and coaching, Cook enjoys spending as much time as he can with his wife and kids, hunting, and taking care of the softball & baseball fields. He is married to his wife Katie, and they have two children a daughter Sloan (7) and a son Call (4), as well as another son on the way (February 2018).
