Bethany falls to Kingfisher, Area Consolation Game Today

Washington, OK - Bethany (4A-#12) Put up a valiant effort last night against Kingfisher (4A-#1), before falling 50-39. Bethany, who was down by as many as 21 points in the first half, battled back to just a six point deficit in the 4th quarter, but just ran out of time. It was a great comeback for the Bronchos, unfortunately they fell just short. David Miller led the 2nd half charge for Bethany with 22 points on hot shooting from the field. Kingfisher will be one of eight teams to advance to the state tournament next week automatically. Bethany will play Anadarko (4A-#5) tonight, Saturday, March 2 at 8 PM in the Area Consolation at Washington HS. The winner of that game will advance to the state tournament.
