Boys Basketball Begins Regional Tournament Tonight

The Bronchos (4A-#12) will take on Weatherford (4A) for the third time this season at 8:00 PM today in regional tournament play. Bethany and Weatherford have split their two contests this season with Bethany winning the first 55-39 and Weatherford winning the second 41-39. Bethany is coming off of a 79-53 win over Pauls Valley (4A) in the district round of the playoffs, while Weatherford had a 52-41 win over Bridge Creek (4A-UR) to stay in the winners bracket. The Eagles are 10-12 on the year, while Bethany is 19-5. 

The winner of this game will stay in the winners bracket as well as get a day off Friday before moving on to the regional finals where they will most likely take on Anadarko (4A-#5) at 6:30 PM on Saturday at Anadarko High School. The loser of this game will move into the losers bracket and play the Chickasha (4A) vs. Tecumseh (4A) winner at 3:00 PM Friday at Anadarko High School.
